I'm a big girl!

Brooklyn turning 4 is hard for me because next time she has a birthday, she will be preparing to go to school. I can't believe it. 5 days all day away from me. Wah Wah! She enjoys being a preschool but 5 days is a lot. I have some time so I guess I shouldn't worry about it now. :) Anyway, she's amazing me every day learning new things. Sometimes I think, "Where did you even learn that from?" With some coaching but no physical help from me, she signed her name on my brothers birthday card!!! It was so cute so I took a picture of it. What's even more cute is how excited and proud she is of herself. Good job Brooklyn! I also included a dinner we made this week: barbecue black bean chicken with a strawberry salad. Yummy!

Puppy at the Park

We met an adorable brindle boxer puppy at the park named Sid. He was too cute! Brooklyn also laid in the sunshine all by herself. She is so outdoorsy. We've gotta do more outdoor this summer!

Sunny Monday

Today was a high of 68 and I think it was in the low 70s in the afternoon. Brooklyn and I took advantage of the pretty weather. We opened all our windows at the house, took a picnic to the park and played outside as much as we could. It was so beautiful out.

Glider Time

Finally got the gliders out to play. It's so hard to make time for it because we are still kinda scared they will run off or by the time we wanna get them out in the morning they are already in their pouch all snuggled to sleep. They both are more bonded to Aaron than anyone. Brooklyn has started getting a sick tummy and isn't feeling well.

Random Pics

One of the nurses I worked with recently took a new job. Before she left town she made a trip up north to Michigan and brought us back some Vernor's ginger ale. Canada Dry has nothing on this stuff! Brooklyn was excited to try it and ended up not liking it. She never has carbonation so I think the bubbles freaked her out. I also included a picture of my sister and her kids because I thought it was cute. They had fun at the zoo. We are gonna try to go next weekend.

Family Time

We all got to go to the mall together this past week and Brooklyn and I made it to storytime on Wednesday at the library. It was fun and delicious!
