Eureka Springs

Went to Eureka Springs with mom and saw a wood carving event, got ice cream and enjoyed the pretty weather.

Water Weight

"The water weighs 11 pounds mommy!" Brooklyn said so proudly. All I could say was, "you're exactly right baby! Great job!" Today, I just love being a mother.

Mommy/Daughter Breakfast

I had several days off in a row and the day I enjoyed the most is when Brooklyn and I went to Panera for breakfast. We ordered whatever we wanted and ate slowly and just enjoyed time together. Then we played at toys r us for over an hour. I love days like that where we can just do random things. :)

Blessings

All children are a blessing. Imagine life without all the joy your child brings: the proud moments, the smiles, the hugs, the laughter. I like blogging because it helps me slow down and reflect on what means the most to me!

Where's the car?

It was so pretty outside we decided to walk to pick Brooklyn up from preschool. She was excited but said, "I'm a little freaked out that you don't have the car but I guess we can walk home." She picked flowers all along the way!

Brooklyn is 4!

All these pictures of Brooklyn eating made me wanna make an updated list of her current favorites/behaviors. Brooklyn, you are overall a well mannered little precious girl. Lately, you are testing the "lie" waters and really testing your boundaries. I can tell by the look on your face that you are not telling the truth and you are wondering if I know! We keep telling you that the truth is best even if you've done something wrong. I hope this isn't a long battle! You love waffles for breakfast with nothing on them and of course juice. I pack a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for your lunch because I know it is something you'll eat. I've started making more smoothies for you and you love those! You say, "smoovie" and it is so cute! You're finally sleeping in until about 7am which is much better than 5! Lately you've needed 2 night lights and you're scared to sleep by yourself every once in a while. 20 stuffed animals make you feel safer. ;) You really want to pick and choose your clothes by yourself and this morning you said your shorts were "too tight on my hips!" Aaron and I just shook our heads and he responded, "Brooklyn you don't even have hips!" Haha! You are funny and bring joy everyday! We love you!

More Birthday Fun

I rarely get many pics of Brooklyn's parties because I'm always setting stuff up, keeping kids together and just enjoying the moments. I'm so glad people have sent me tons of pics but geez it's hard to blog all my favorites!

Brooklyn's Birthday Morning

Working on the campfire with Aaron is some if my brothers old clothes and Brooklyn helping gather rocks and make dandelion wishes. She said, "I wish-ded Kenlee was here." Kenlee and Keylee adore Brooklyn and she adores them!! Aaron worked hard through the rain and built an awesome fire pit! Eagle Scout Ryan kept the flames burning with his survival skills! Haha!
