Day 5

I pray that Aaron and I both will strive to remember our wedding vows daily. Help us to see our marriage as the covenant it is. I pray that he will desire to cultivate our relationship to honor his marriage and show Christ's love and commitment through our marriage. Proverbs 20:6 asks, "Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is truly reliable?" I pray I can trust Aaron and rely on him as a best friend and Husband. I pray we would both desire to be transparent with one another, thus growing our relationship into a solid bond through Christ. Genesis 2:24 states, "This explains why man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united as one." I pray our actions would communicate oneness in our marriage. I pray we will continue working together effectively as a team, meeting each others needs instead of our own first.
